Ashley Jenner hates Hocus Pocus. It was the one film she did when she was an adorable, gap toothed eight year old, playing the precocious little sister to the main character, who was trying to stop a team of witches from taking over salem. She had auditioned for it after her elementary school drama teacher praised her portrayal of annie in annie and, since she lived in Los Angeles, thought that movies were the next logical step. Her parents begrudgingly agreed to let Ashley audition for no more than five films. If she didn't get cast, they would go back to being a normal suburban family.

Ashley was cast in the first film she auditioned for.

Hocus Pocus was backed by disney, and became a smash hit. For a few months, Ashley was famous. But she didn't have the same luck on other auditions and her parents were all too happy to return to their regular lives. Ashley went back to her normal elementary school, where she had become a bit of an outcast.

As she got older, Ashley realized she had never really wanted to be an actress anyway. She had always wanted to be a musician. When she was thirteen, her parents enrolled her in piano and guitar lessons. She was happy for the first time in a long while, and instantly took to the instruments, spending all of her free time writing music and practicing in the studio her parents had created for her in their basement.

High school was particularly difficult for Ashley. Kids can be cruel, tabloids were already calling her a has-been at sixteen, and her parents' marriage had begun to dissolve. Neither of them paid much attention as their daughter stayed out late and got into her fair share of trouble and too old for her, not good enough for her boyfriends. She made headlines, she made a lot of mistakes in four years, and got hurt even more. But she emerged a bit wiser and harder for it.

Ashley graduated high school and decided college wasn't for her, instead diving head first into the los angeles music scene. She had made a few friends in school and together they formed "The Wembleys", an indie rock band that, with Ashley's razor sharp lyrics and band mate Ian Davis' poppy melodies, quickly exploded onto the indie scene and gained a following.

But with fame comes the controversy again. There were rumors that Ashley was addicted to drugs, dating all three of her bandmates, and so desperate to make a comeback that she had created the band as a publicity stunt. She ignored it though, focusing instead on having a good time, and making good music that spoke for itself. The band has been together for four years, and put out an EP and three full length albums. They've toured the company, opening for several well known acts, and even though every so often someone looks at her and sees only that one film she made when she was eight, Ashley is finally starting to feel like she has a new platform to stand on- and it was the one she was supposed to be on all along.

Band Mates These guys are like Ashley's brothers. She briefly dated her co-writer and guitarist Ian, but they broke up before the band started playing together. When her family disintegrated, she was on her own, but these guys became her new family, and she adores them.

Mentors The Wembleys have opened for many famous indie and pop rock bands. She would have met a bunch of fellow musicians, and takes her music very seriously. She would look up to these people and probe them for advice while on tour.

I'm open to anything else! Hit me up!
